Airport Wildlife Training Classes

Loomacres Wildlife Management conducts various educational courses to instruct airport personnel on the proper identification and management of wildlife on their airport. We offer Wildlife Hazard Management and Wildlife Identification training courses to meet and fulfill the FAA Requirement. Loomacres will customize your trainings to fit the specific needs of your airport by actively reviewing your Wildlife Hazard Management Plan.

These trainings are done either on site with your airport staff or remotely. Due to the COVID-19 Travel Restrictions, Loomacres Wildlife Management has been giving approval from the FAA to hold these trainings Remotely Online

Technology was used more than ever with essentially everyone using zoom meetings, go to meetings, and virtual workplaces. Garages and basements turned into offices and closets turned into break rooms! After speaking with several leaders in the Wildlife Damage Management community one thing that was apparent was how much the landscape of the industry changed. Annual conferences that we used to attend became awkward virtual unorganized online meetings, less interactions with lifelong customers, and restricted travel. However, one good thing that came out of it was the FAA allowing Certified Airport Wildlife Biologist to conduct Wildlife Hazard Management Training remotely to fulfill the mandated Part 139 Airport Certification and stay in compliance.  Read More

Testimonial
I attended the Airport Advanced Wildlife Course in Tulsa, OK last week. Wow, what a course! I work in Airport Operations and wildlife management for my airport and I  gained a lot of new knowledge and learned many new management tactics that I will input into our program. Loomacres staff: Cody, Darby, Josh, Clint, et al are very knowledgeable and amiable. Highly recommend this course for anyone looking to gain more knowledge and skills in wildlife management.
