Crows return to invade downtown Watertown. WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - Crows are back and causing a mess in downtown Watertown. Every year around this time, thousands of crows flock to Watertown, where their feces and noise disturb residents and business owners. Cody Baciuska from Loom Acres Wildlife Management comes to harass the crows, or kill them if harassment isn’t successful. City of Watertown taking action against crows in the area. October 23, 2021
WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWTI) — Wildlife biologists will begin crow hazing in an effort to disperse flocks of crows found in the Watertown area.
The effort comes after the City of Watertown requested to have the flocks of crows seen in the city dispersed. The biologists will be provided by the city’s crow hazing contractor Loomacres Wildlife Management.

At the request of the City of Watertown, Wildlife Biologists from the City’s crow hazing contractor, Loomacres Wildlife Management, will be conducting their first effort of the season to haze nuisance crow flocks within the City. Hazing will occurring the evening hours of Monday, October 19, 2020.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Friday is National Wildlife Day, and for a team that works at the Lincoln Airport, it’s one of the most important days of the year.
Brooke Morgan is a wildlife biologist for the Lincoln Airport. She surveys birds, sprays for certain weeds, and works with the Airport Authority on plant control. She does it all alongside her golden retriever, Grace.
